NATURAL, ORGANIC, MOISTURE-ABSORBING
SUBSTRATE for all types of plants with unique properties

Sphagnum moss is a slow-growing plant that forms a layer of fresh green every year in freshwater habitats. Old sphagnum darkens and decomposes at the bottom of the marshes, turning into peat moss.
We collect our sphagnum moss by hand from a natural swamp system in an ecologically clean region of Siberia.
Unique properties of SPHAGNUM
Absorbs and retains moisture
up to 20 times its own weight
The sphagnum body contains
phenol, which is an antiseptic
that kills bacteria. Almost does
Sphagnum is very
resistant to decomposition
, it is
kept dry for a very long time.
Sphagnum grow annually at the top, and die off at the bottom
and forms peat
(1-2 mm per year).
Sphagnum moss grown in nature is rich in humic acids, biologically active substances and other growth stimulants from low-lying peat layers.
It is used in plant growing and floriculture, as an independent hydro-accumulating substrate or as an additive to soil mixtures for soil mulching
How It Works
We collect our moss by hand without the use of heavy equipment, in ecologically clean swamps in the wild.
Sort out from marsh plants
We carefully sort out the collected moss from debris and other marsh plants
A gentle mode of drying the moss is used so as not to damage its structure
Pressing and packaging
To save the cost of logistics, we press the moss into briquettes, reducing the bulk volume of dry moss by 40 times
